What’s Your Sign?
I am once again reminded how many friends and colleagues in the public relations and communications industry are Libras. I’ve written about it in the past, here, here and here, actually finding information that supports the idea that astrological signs can be predictors of career paths.
I surveyed the members of the Public Relations Global Network and found that this is “international” in scope as well. Of the 55 agencies, about 25% of the respondents are Libras.
What other parallels are there to communications and Libras?
For what it’s worth, apparently Libras have texting anxiety. That’s why texting with us has to be even on all sides. A Libra won’t text you back if they see that a conversation is too one-sided; if we send you an emoji, we expect an emoji back.
Although some may claim that Libras are bossy, (well, maybe a little), we have a strong sense of justice and fairness. We can be quite vocal with our opinions. But we can be charming and persuasive as well.
Libras like to be in the company of others, are extremely agreeable (most of the time), honest and place high value on our friendships and other social connections. We are extroverted and concerned with attaining balance, harmony, peace, and justice in the world.
And since today is my birthday, here’s what I found out about October 13 Libras:
October 13 Libras are typically observant, analytical thinkers and social creatures. We like being around other people; we make great friends, have a variety of different friendships, and are fiercely loyal and committed to our family and friends.
Now, that’s something I can believe it.
