(PRESCOTT, Ariz. – Sept. 19, 2019)  The Arizona Association for Economic Development (AAED) will hold its Fall Forum to discuss “Strengthening Your Economic Development Toolbox,”  Oct. 23-25 at the Prescott Resort in Prescott.

The conference is recognized by the International Economic Development Council (IEDC) as a professional development event that counts toward the recertification of Certified Economic Developers (CEcD).

Among the educational sessions at the conference will be:

  • “Repurposing Big Box Stores”
  • “Activating Opportunity Zones in Rural America”
  • “Retail Realities”
  • “Foreign Trade Zones as an Economic Tool”
  • “Using Storytelling to Grow a Community”
  • “Measurements to Strengthen Economic Development”
  • “What’s New in the UAV World?”
  • “Data for Economic Development Success: Where to Find It”

Additionally, AAED will present its annual Golden Prospector Awards honoring successful economic development programs from around the state.
