(PHOENIX – Jan. 22, 2020) – Southwest Behavioral & Health Services (SB&H), a member of the Association of Post-Doctoral and Psychology Internship Centers (APPIC), hosted the 2020 Doctoral Psychology National Internship Match program on Jan. 10. The clinical training department at SB&H received 107 applications and interviewed 73 applicants from across the country. The program helps match the 28 open internship positions with qualified candidates slated to begin work Sept. 2020.

“The Doctoral Psychology National Internship Match program attracts the brightest minds in behavioral health,” said Southwest Behavioral & Health Services Administrator of Clinical Education Dr. Lynette Livesay. “The doctoral candidates are motivated and filled with innovative ideas that align with our mission of believing in the resilience and recovery of individuals.”
