REDW Advisors & CPAs Announces Caitlin Gutierrez, CPA, CIDA, as Principal in Risk Advisory Services Practice
(ALBUQUERQUE – Jan. 20, 2026) — REDW Advisors & CPAs is proud to announce the promotion of Caitlin Gutierrez to Principal in its national Risk Advisory Services practice. In this role, Gutierrez will provide strategic leadership and senior oversight for comprehensive risk assessments, internal audit, and advisory engagements across the firm’s national client base.
Gutierrez will guide clients through complex financial, operational, regulatory, and technology-related risks while helping strengthen governance, internal controls, and compliance frameworks across their organizations. She will serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership teams, boards, and governing bodies, leading multidisciplinary teams to deliver tailored risk management solutions that address operational challenges and inefficiency, enhance policies and procedures, and mitigate various types of risk. She will also support the continued growth and evolution of the firm’s Risk Advisory Services practice. Gutierrez will continue working from REDW’s Albuquerque office, serving clients nationwide and supporting the firm’s remote and global workforce.
Gutierrez has built her career at REDW since joining the firm in 2008. She began in the Wealth Management practice, working in administration before advancing to Portfolio Manager and SEC Compliance Officer. Her diverse experience also includes time in the Tax Department before she specialized in Risk Advisory Services in 2017.
A passionate community leader, Gutierrez was recognized by the New Mexico Society of Certified Public Accountants (NMSCPA) as a Woman to Watch in 2022 and as an Impact Award Winner in 2025—an honor given to members who go above and beyond in service to the profession. She currently serves on the NMSCPA board and has volunteered with the organization’s Women’s Leadership Summit, Scholarship Committee, and Awards Committee. Gutierrez also currently serves as Treasurer for both the La Cueva High School Orchestra and Softball booster clubs. She holds both a Bachelor of Business Administration and Master of Accounting degree from the University of New Mexico and is a Certified Investments and Derivatives Auditor (CIDA) in addition to her CPA designation.
