#MediaMonday – Times Media Group Strengthens Community Reporting
Happy #MediaMonday! Arizona-based Times Media Group has made a significant move to strengthen community journalism, partnering with the National Trust for Local News to acquire 21 newspapers across metro Denver. This expands TMG’s growing portfolio of more than 60 titles across the Southwest.
This is a major step forward for local news access and a win for communities that rely on trustworthy, neighborhood-focused reporting. As we’ve covered before, the decline of local newspapers and the rise of news deserts is real — we can’t rely solely on national news to tell the stories that matter most at the community level. Moves like this help bridge that gap.
