What Makes A Special Event A Home Run?
When planning and managing special events, it’s always fun to come up with something different. A routine ribbon-cutting is so blasé.
It’s not just ordinary events that can benefit from creativity. Take weddings, for example.
There are destination weddings, themed weddings, weddings in which the couple’s dog participates and weddings focused on the pair’s mutual interests.
A friend of the agency’s, a former client and strategic partner and baseball fan, proposed to his wife at home plate at Fenway Park, the home stadium of the Boston Red Sox.
Another friend’s son, who works in the baseball industry, had a specially designed home plate at their feet as they took their vows at the altar.
Yet another friend who also works in the baseball industry proposed to his wife at home plate of a high school baseball field near their home. They have taken it one step further.
Their wedding will be at home plate at Tempe Diablo Stadium. The reception will be in the stadium with beer and hot dogs on the menu.
Nobody wants their special event to be a strike out. Each of these will always be remembered for their creativity.
