The Strength of a Network: Learning, Growing and Staying Connected
Next week, members of the Public Relations Global Network will gather in New York City for our twice-yearly conference. It is a chance to reconnect with colleagues from around the world, share what we are seeing in our markets and talk about how our profession continues to evolve. HMA Public Relations is proud to be one of PRGN’s founding agencies.
A strong network is one of the most valuable resources a communications professional can have. PRGN gives its members access to trusted colleagues who understand their markets and bring deep local knowledge to the table. When clients need insight or support beyond Arizona, we can turn to people we know and trust. And when colleagues need a perspective on our state, we are glad to share our experience.
That exchange goes both ways. We learn from one another’s work, ask questions, compare approaches and talk candidly about what is changing in public relations. Those conversations help us stay curious and prepared, while giving us practical ideas we can bring back to our teams and clients.
Professional development is another important part of the conference. Sessions and discussions create room to explore new tools, strengthen core skills and consider best practices across different markets and cultures. Just as valuable is the opportunity to hear how others are addressing similar challenges. The details may differ from one place to another, but the lessons often travel well.
And then there are the friendships. Over time, professional relationships built through PRGN have become lasting personal connections. The chance to catch up, celebrate one another’s milestones and enjoy time together is a meaningful part of what makes this network so special.
We are proud of PRGN’s growth, its continuity and the expertise its members bring to clients around the world. Being part of the network from the beginning has given us a front-row seat to its evolution and a role in shaping what comes next. We look forward to gathering in New York, learning from one another and strengthening the connections that make PRGN such a valuable community.
