Why does media matter to you?
Ever since I was a little child, I always wanted to know what was going on in the world. One of the few ways we had back then was television or newspapers. Fast forward to today, and there are a ton of different ways where you can gather information in the world. History is important because if you don’t learn history, you tend to repeat it. The media is important because it’s one of the ways we can record history and learn from it. But, you have to know if it’s good history or bad history. In other words, you have to know if it’s fake news or if it’s real news.
What story are you most proud of?
Well, I am most proud of any story I have ever done that covers the community. If it’s any story that some organization or some person has done to change someone’s life, that’s a story that I am most proud of. So, I can’t pick just one. I’m just proud of every story of somebody who makes a difference in someone’s life.
