#MediaMonday – Dave Strader
Former Arizona Coyotes broadcaster Dave Strader passed away yesterday at the age of 62 after battling cancer for more than a year.
Known as “The Voice,” Strader called Coyotes games for four seasons, from 2007 to 2011.
He as honored by the Hockey Hall of Fame earlier this year with the Foster Hewitt Memorial Award for his contributions as a broadcaster. He was scheduled to be recognized at the Hockey Hall of Fame Media Awards Luncheon next month.
