LinkedIn Is Still My Go-to for Business Connections
I had lunch with a friend this week. He and I have known each other for more than 30 years and have, over the years, worked together on shared clients. He often tells me that I was the first person to introduce him to social media and although he’d just as soon not use it, he knows the value in the connections that are made and the information that can be shared as a result.
I am an active Facebook user, a little less so on Instagram and hardly at all any more on X. I dabbled a bit when Threads first launched and now just scroll through and occasionally comment and/or post.
And what about LinkedIn?
I’ve talked about how to build your brand on LinkedIn during an episode Copper State of Mind podcast. It is my go-to source before any new business meeting to determine common connections. I share our blog content and use it to share information about the PR industry.
With my recent promotion, I have taken the opportunity to review and update my profile. Adding some information, changing some and deleting others. Sharing the news has resulted in a lot of good engagement from friends and colleagues that I haven’t chatted with in a while.
There is a wealth of knowledge hidden in your LinkedIn connections. How are you using it to build your brand and secure new and existing business relationships?
Don’t let this valuable resource go to waste. Let us help you amplify your online presence and let LinkedIn and other social media platforms work for you.
