Inspired by the Women Who Inspired Us

I was incredibly honored to be included in a recent AZ Big Media feature exploring how mothers and grandmothers have inspired the success of Arizona’s female business leaders. It was especially meaningful to share a few lessons I learned from my own mom, Carol Bailin, whose bold voice (and inability to hold to back, at times) helped shape the communicator and professional I am today.

In addition to honoring my mother, I was also filled with pride that several of our HMA clients took part as well, sharing lessons learned from their own mothers and grandmothers.

Congratulations to Erica Bloudek of Wilde Wealth Management, who honored her grandmother’s quiet resilience and unwavering support; Jolean Fleck of Delta Dental of Arizona, who shared how her mother’s determination to pursue education changed the trajectory of generations of women in her family; Brianna Lewis of CHASSE Building Team reflected on her mother’s lifelong passion for teaching and inspiring others; Marcia Scott of Axiom Care, who celebrated her 98-year-old mother’s lifelong example of optimism, service and storytelling; Trisha Stuart of Mercy Care, who beautifully captured the lifelong friendship and guidance she has received from her mother; and Traci Beagley of the Arizona In-Home Health Care Association, who honored her mother’s selfless approach to helping others, which shaped the way she leads both personally and professionally.

To all the mothers, grandmothers and mother figures who continue to inspire the next generation of leaders, thank you.
