Nicole Stanton Recognized with Two Arizona Community Awards

The national law firm of Quarles & Brady LLP announced that Nicole France Stanton, a partner in the firm’s Phoenix office has been recognized and honored by two local business and civic organizations for her work in the Arizona community.

In February, Stanton was honored at the 12th Annual Dynamic Women in Business Event by the Phoenix Business Journal. Dynamic Women in Business are recommended by members of the community and chosen by members of the Phoenix Business Journal for their leadership, professional accomplishments and personal achievements.

 

In March, Stanton received the 2013 Judge Learned Hand Emerging Leader Award from the American Jewish Committee, Arizona Chapter. Stanton was honored for her outstanding leadership in the legal profession and her dedication to philanthropic and community endeavors. The Learned Hand Award was established in 1964 and pays tribute to an attorney who epitomizes Judge Hand’s guiding belief that liberty under the law forms the foundation of this nation’s way of life.

 

Stanton is a member of the firm’s Commercial Litigation Group. Her experience includes defense of local and national law firms in legal malpractice actions and other business litigation disputes. She is a member of Charter 100 Women, serves as a founding board member and past president of the Women’s Metropolitan Arts Council of the Phoenix Art Museum, and is an adjunct professor at Arizona State University Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law teaching professional responsibility. She was selected by her peers in 2011 and 2012 for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America®. A graduate of Valley Leadership Class XXIX, Stanton was the YWCA of Maricopa County’s 2011 Tribute to Women honoree. She received her law degree, magna cum laude, from the University of Arizona and her bachelor’s degree from the University of Utah.
