Nicole Stanton Named Woman of the Year by Arizona Summit Women’s Law Association

(PHOENIX, May 9, 2016) The national law firm of Quarles & Brady LLP today announced that Phoenix Office Managing Partner Nicole Stanton has been named Woman of the Year by Arizona Summit Women’s Law Association.

 

Stanton was honored at the first annual Arizona Summit Women’s Law Association’s Spring Luncheon on April 30.

 

“I’m so humbled to received the Woman of the Year award from the Arizona Summit Women’s Law Association,” said Stanton. “I firmly agree with the association that we need to promote and encourage the success of women lawyers throughout Arizona.”

 

In addition to her position as office managing partner at Quarles & Brady, Stanton is a member of the firm’s Litigation & Dispute Resolution Practice Group. Her experience includes defense of local and national law firms in legal malpractice actions and other business litigation disputes.

 

In the Phoenix community, Stanton also serves as a founding board member and past president of the Women’s Metropolitan Arts Council of the Phoenix Art Museum, as well as a member of Charter 100 Women. She also is an adjunct professor teaching professional responsibility at Arizona State University Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law and served as a member of the Business Court Advisory Committee. A graduate of Valley Leadership Class XXIX, Stanton is a recent recipient of the “Philanthropic Leader of the Year” at the 8th Annual Positively Powerful Woman Award and is a past YWCA of Maricopa County’s Tribute to Women honoree in the Business Leader category. She also was honored as one of the “50 Most Influential Women in Business” by AZ Business Magazine.

 

Stanton received her law degree, magna cum laude, from the University of Arizona and her bachelor’s degree from the University of Utah.
