The Community Alliance Program provides research-based materials, public service messages and educational trainings to the community coalitions. The program goal is to be a partner to the local community coalitions, schools, law enforcement, and local businesses in their effort to promote healthy living and drug-free kids.

“We are excited to have the opportunity to connect and collaborate with these organizations in Arizona,” said Shelly Mowrey, senior director of communications and programs for DrugFreeAZ.org. “Our partners are doing amazing work and are passionate about the communities they serve. We’re looking forward to better serving these communities, and, with our partners, help prevent and reduce substance abuse in Arizona’s youth.”

The Community Alliance Program is made possible, in part, by support from APS, BHHS Legacy Foundation and the Arizona High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area (HIDTA).

“HIDTA is proud to partner with DrugFreeAZ.org on their Community Alliance Project because of the work they do towards prevention,” said Elizabeth Kempshall, director of Arizona HIDTA. “We can succeed when we work together with education, treatment, physicians and law enforcement – and that will make a difference for our children.”
