The onset of the COVID-19 pandemic has changed many things, including how we work and from where we work.
It has also created or brought back into regular vernacular a whole new notebook of terms, rallying cries and references, such as:
- #WFH (working from home)
- PPE (personal protection equipment)
- PPP (Paycheck Protection Program)
- CARES ACT (Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and. Economic Security Act)
- “we are in this together”
- “stay home”
- “social distancing”
- “you’re on mute”
- “wash your hands”
- “do your part”
- “we’ll get through this”
- WHO (World Health Organization)
There are many more.
At the same time, another interesting trend is how messaging has – almost word-for-word and phrase-for-phrase — become similar for SO many companies, as evidenced here on this collection of current spots you may have seen recently.
