What is a contact report?

While text, email and phone calls are great, at HMA Public Relations we believe that face-to-face communication (if at all possible) is one of the keys to a successful client-agency relationship.

However, we also value both our client and team members’ time. As such, an important tool in our PR Toolbox for client service/client management is the contact report.

More than meeting minutes, a contact report is both an overview of programs, campaigns or other partnership elements discussed during the meeting, but also lists out responsibilities and actionable items that are to be completed by both parties in advance of next meeting.

They not only help us all stay on track, but they give others who may not have been in the meetings  a good idea of what is happening, why and when it should be completed.
