Rest in Peace Kelly Mixer

We were all saddened to see the news of Kelly’s passing. The online tributes were proof of the impact she had as a journalist here in the Phoenix area and as a tireless volunteer for animal shelters in the East Valley.

The news hit particularly hard for the team here at HMA as Kelly is one of our own.  We hired her on our account team when she and her husband, Matt, first moved to Phoenix.

With a talent for finding what was newsworthy for our clients, she was an excellent PR practitioner. But her passion for telling good stories was a calling that brought her back to the newsrooms across the Valley.

We will miss her as a colleague and as a friend. Rest in Peace Kelly.
