A few weeks ago, as part of the supportive professional development opportunities that HMA Public Relations provides, I was able to attend the PRSA International Conference in Boston. Since I am on the slate to be the incoming board president for PRSA Phoenix, this was a great opportunity not only to learn new strategies and tactics, but also to network and meet colleagues from around the world. As part of the conference, I attended a session called “In the Era of Fake News, How to Keep Your Brand’s Content Credible” by Lisa Arledge Powell, president of MediaSource & Bob Mackle, director of media relations at OSUWMC.
