#MediaMonday – Mark Curtis
As most of you know, our team has been a part of the Rocky Mountain Emmys for about 20 years now. From time-to-time, we also get to assist with media relations as it relates to the members and the award program, which is this weekend at the Montelucia.
As part of this effort, we decided to spotlight nominees and winners from several of our local Phoenix-area television stations. We partnered up with So Scottsdale and Uptown Magazines that featured these stories.
Over the course of the next several weeks we will share be sharing these profiles as part of our #MediaMonday series. Up first is Mark Curtis.
Some highlights from our interview:
- The man already has 14 Rocky Mountain Emmys (and is nominated for more this weekend).
- He went to T.C. Williams High School, which was the inspiration for Remember the Titans.
- The coach who inspired Denzel Washington’s role was his driver’s ed teacher.
- He once planned on becoming a doctor.
- His moustache is as amazing as you think it is.
