#MediaMonday – Lynette Carrington
Several years ago, we spotlighted the one and only Lynette Carrington as part of our #MediaMonday series. If you missed it, a few highlights:
- Arizona native Lynette is a Shadow Mountain High School alum, just like our own Abbie S. Fink (and Curt Schilling, too)!
- She was named after gold medal Australian swimmer in the 1968 Mexico City Olympics, Lynette Velma McClements.
- She was Arizona’s top-ranked gymnast in floor exercise in 1983.
- She got engaged to her husband only 36 hours after meeting him. They’ve now been married over 25 years!
We are re-sharing her story today in order to provide a very exciting update: beginning with its December issue, Lynette will take the reigns as the editor of AZ Health & Living Magazine. The monthly glossy magazine and interactive, continuously updated website profile philanthropists, celebrities, Arizona businesses and nonprofits as well as share thought leadership on myriad health and wellness issues and provide the local news of the day. In coming weeks, she will start accepting pitches for the issue and will always be looking for content.
Congrats, Lynette!
