Importance of Sharing Gratitude
This is a time of year when we all tend to pay attention to the festivities of the season.
That means being thankful – and communicating that.
Holiday cards, phone calls, e-mails and even thank-you luncheons are a part of many people’s and company’s annual thank-you efforts.
It’s important to communicate that thankfulness to clients, employees, vendors and others who contribute to your success.
All of this is great. But why do we wait till the holiday season to do it?
There are a number of other “seasons” during the year that are great opportunities for us to reach out to our stakeholders.
Whether it’s a birthday, an anniversary, a client/agency milestone or just a “let’s catch up” coffee meeting, it’s important that we maintain our momentum of gratefulness throughout the year.
It’s a challenge as the calendar flips from month-to-month. It’s also essential to keep it – or make it – a priority. It’s too important to let slip through the cracks of being too busy.
And while I have this chance, thank you to all our clients who trust us with their communications programs, our internal team that demonstrates the utmost in professionalism, integrity and expertise daily and our partners around the globe who have the confidence in us to ensure that we have success in all our endeavors.
