Facebook Stats to Know
With more than 2.9 billion users, Facebook can provide endless opportunities for your business once you have a good grasp on your content and intended audience. Here are some of the need-to-know stats for Facebook and how they can be key to ruling the platform.
Ages 25-34 are Facebook’s largest audience.
Despite being known as a platform for predominantly older audiences, 25-34 is the most active age on Facebook at 26.4 percent, according to Sprout Social. While this may come as a surprise to many, Facebook still remains a platform for a wide audience and your content should be well-rounded to hold up with audiences of all ages.
Facebook removed 4,596,765 pieces of content in 2021.
According to HootSuite, this content was removed due to copyright, trademark or counterfeit reports and increased a whopping 23.6 percent from 2020. While your content may be great, always keep in mind that you are using it fairly, that it is your original content and that you are not violating any Facebook rules. You will be glad you did.
