‘Workforce Forges Ahead’ Will Be The Topic At The Arizona Association for Economic Development’s September Luncheon

(TUCSON, Ariz. – Aug. 27, 2019) – “Workforce Forges Ahead” will be the topic at the Arizona Association for Economic Development’s (AAED) Southern Arizona September luncheon.  It will be held on Sept. 25 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. at the Arizona Inn, 2200 E. Elm St. in Tucson.

The speakers will be Amanda Abens, dean of workforce development at Pima Community College; Greg Wilson, dean of applied technology at Pima Community College; and Arnold Palacios, director of employment and training at Pima County Community Services.  The trio will share their insights about workforce attraction, development and retention in Southern Arizona. They will also discuss the work being done in this area through collaboration and partnerships.
