Wildflower Celebrates 30 Years by Giving Back

(SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. – July 24, 2026) – on July 15, Wildflower leaders joined Child Crisis Arizona supporters and community members to celebrate the Arizona restaurant’s 30th anniversary. Long committed to philanthropy, Wildflower – headquartered in Scottsdale – marked the milestone with a $37,329 donation to Child Crisis Arizona, a nonprofit partner for nearly two decades.

“Since 2007, Wildflower has been more than a donor to Child Crisis Arizona; they have rolled up their sleeves to donate food, volunteer hours, and step up at several of our events, including our annual gala and our Lunch for Love program, as critical partners in our holistic approach that supports children through every stage of life, from infancy through young adulthood, with care that adapts as their needs evolve,” said Torrie A. Taj, CEO of Child Crisis Arizona.

Wildflower’s partnership with Child Crisis Arizona began when original owners Louis and Tracy Basile saw an organization transforming the lives of children in foster care and families in crisis across the Valley. Louis went on to join the nonprofit’s volunteer board of directors, and the Wildflower team became a steadfast partner, donating meals to hundreds of families during the COVID-19 pandemic so no one went hungry and generously naming the state-of-the-art kitchen at the Child Crisis Arizona Center for Child & Family Wellness, which continues to serve warm, nutritious meals to children in preschool and shelter.

Today, that same spirit of generosity continues under CEO Jim Nagy’s leadership. As Wildflower celebrates 30 years in Arizona, its partnership with Child Crisis Arizona continues to strengthen, creating lasting impact for children and families across the state.

In addition to the donation, guests also received a preview of Wildflower’s newest location at 13637 N. Tatum Blvd. in the Paradise Valley/Phoenix area. While still under construction, the 4,000-square-foot restaurant, set to open in August, will feature a fresh design and a welcoming crew serving breakfast, lunch and dinner. The new location reflects Wildflower’s continued commitment to creating places where guests can enjoy great food and genuine hospitality at everyday affordable prices.

“At Wildflower, we recently celebrated our 30th anniversary, and we like to say we’re just getting started! With the opening of our Tatum & Thunderbird location in early August, we expect to continue expanding with new Arizona locations while also exploring our first out-of-state expansion.
