Wilde Wealth Management Group Aligns with ECA Financial Services, Inc.

(SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. – March 9, 2022) – Wilde Wealth Management Group, an award-winning independent financial firm that provides comprehensive retirement, investment, real estate, insurance, legal and tax planning services all under one roof, has formally aligned with ECA Financial Services, Inc., among the preeminent health insurance and benefits companies in Arizona since 1985. Through the partnership, the ECA has moved into Wilde Wealth’s newly expanded headquarters, located at 7025 N. Scottsdale Road, #110 in Scottsdale.

“Since our inception, we’ve remained committed to serving every aspect of our clients’ financial plan, not just investment management or retirement planning,” says Trevor W. Wilde, MBA, AIF, chief executive officer and Investment Advisor Representative at Wilde Wealth Management Group. “Through our full-service model, we leverage partnerships with the best of the best in specialized fields including taxes, estate law, mortgage and real estate, and insurance. This allows us to collectively offer comprehensive services with one main point of contact who can act as your advocate and ensure everyone is on the same page, understanding the same mission and working on your behalf together as a team.”

While they will remain separate entities, the partnership between Wilde Wealth and ECA – both family-owned businesses with deep ties to the valley – will allow both firms the opportunity to elevate the level of attention and care they’ve been providing to clients for decades.

ECA is led by the father-daughter team of Robert J. Wernecke, CLU and Lisa M. Martin, RHU®. Wernecke, a military veteran, has been working in the field and in Arizona since 1968. A Chartered Life Underwriter, he specializes in group and voluntary benefits planning, owner planning, succession planning and executive benefit planning including deferred compensation and supplemental tax-preferred retirement benefits.

“Bob and Lisa’s reputation is to focus on the client first; a value we share,” says Wilde. “To have them as partners is a true honor, and together we are going to help thousands of individuals and businesses across Arizona.”

Among his laundry list of accomplishments during his storied career is serving as president of National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors from 1989 to 1990, leading 140,000 members during the organization’s Centennial year. He is also a founding member and past president of the Phoenix Valley Estate Planning Council, co-founder of the Arizona Life Underwriters Political Action Committee, former director of the Phoenix Chapter of the Society of Financial Service Professionals and was appointed by the Governor to the Inaugural Arizona Life and Disability Guaranty Fund Board. Beyond this, Wernecke is a charter member and director of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA) Scottsdale Association and a past president of the NAIFA Arizona Association. On the national level, he chaired the NAIFA CEO Search Committee and is a past member of the organization’s Transformation Task Force.

The committed family man who married his high school sweetheart in 1967 and is a father to two daughters and grandfather to two grandsons is also dedicated to his church and the local philanthropic community. Wernecke notably sponsored A Stepping Stone Foundation, a nonprofit that currently collaborates with Alhambra and Isaac Elementary School Districts to provide high quality multi-generational learning. Together across two distinct sites, the organization provides preschool classes for young children, childcare for up to 13 younger siblings, and adult education and parenting classes for their caregivers.

“In addition to sharing the same business values, we really appreciated that Trevor – himself a father of four and active board member with nonprofits across the state – and his team are family and community focused,” says Wernecke. “That matters in business as it does in life.”

Wernecke’s accomplished daughter Martin joined the practice in 2002 after working in the technology and human resources fields. Celebrating her 20th anniversary with the firm, the designated Registered Health Underwriter is a sought-after professional in the design, management and service of group and individual benefit plans known for excellence in plan implementation, employee support, claim problem resolution, annual renewal analysis and ongoing customer service. Martin formerly served on the board for NAIFA’s Scottsdale Chapter and is a trained budget coach. Martin is a Scottsdale native and still lives in the area with her husband, son, stepson and two dogs and in her spare time volunteers with local charities and mentors kids.

“Through this partnership with Wilde Wealth, we are able to give our clients as well as Wilde’s access to broader resources while still providing the level of service they have come to expect,” says Martin.
