W.J. Maloney Plumbing, Heating & Cooling Names Neil Van Wie Controller
W.J. Maloney Plumbing, Heating & Cooling has announced that Neil Van Wie has been named controller. Van Wie will lead and manage the company’s financial planning and accounting practices including internal controls and management reporting, and will provide financial leadership for the company.
Van Wie has been in financial leadership roles for more than 10 years and has extensive experience with construction businesses. He graduated from a two-year management development certification program at the Center for Executive Development at Arizona State University’s College of Business after earning his bachelor’s degree in accounting from Eastern Washington University. He has also participated in the Leadership Development Program at the Center for Creative Leadership in San Diego. He has held management positions with Ramada Inns, Del Web Corporation, and Pulte Homes.
“Neil’s background as a CPA, along with his experience in the construction industry will help fill a key role for our company,” said Kathryn “Kitty” Maloney-Langmade, president of W.J. Maloney Plumbing, Heating & Cooling. “As we continue to grow, the financial side of our business becomes more complex.”
Van Wie is a Peoria resident.

Recently completed projects include Phases I, II and III of CityScape Phoenix, the Orthopedic and Spine Inpatient Surgical (OASIS) Hospital in Phoenix and a major solar thermal project at the University of Arizona in Tucson.
