TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® “Movers for Moms” Donates to Sojourner Center

Sojourner Center(PHOENIX – May 17, 2018) – TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® locations across the country collect donations for women every spring and deliver them to local women’s and family shelters on or before Mother’s Day. In Phoenix, this annual campaign called Movers for Moms® selected Sojourner Center as one of its beneficiaries.  According to Steve Bruner, TWO MEN AND A TRUCK franchisee, local locations partnered with businesses and organizations to collect essential care items for women. TWO MEN AND A TRUCK delivered the items on May 10, in time for Mother’s Day.

According to Carrie Borgen, executive director, donations included soaps, hair styling products, shampoos and conditioners, pillows, blankets, slippers, and basic clothing items.

“We are so grateful for partners like TWO MEN AND A TRUCK and their support of the programs we do here at Sojourner Center.  Many of the women and children that come to our shelter arrive with barely more than the clothes on their backs,” said Borgen.  “Donations like these help them have the comforts of home during this time of transition.”
