Trey Wingo Joins Caesars Sportsbook as Chief Trends Officer and Brand Ambassador

Wingo will be creating sports editorial content starting this NFL season 

(LAS VEGAS –  August 11, 2021) – Caesars Sportsbook, recently unveiled by Caesars Entertainment, Inc. (NASDAQ: CZR), has tapped highly-respected sports journalist Trey Wingo to be its Chief Trends Officer and Brand Ambassador.  Wingo will use Caesars’ extensive trading data to develop and create original content and analysis to be distributed across social and other media channels.

During Wingo’s 23 years at ESPN, he showcased amazing versatility by covering a wide variety of sports on multiple platforms. He was prominently featured on the network’s studio shows, hosting SportsCenter and sport-specific broadcasts.  He was most closely associated with ESPN’s NFL programming, serving as the original anchor of NFL Live in 2003 before leading coverage of the NFL Draft and Pro Football Hall of Fame Enshrinement ceremonies. Wingo has reported from golf majors, grand slam tennis events, and the Olympics. He’s also anchored studio coverage of the NCAA Women’s Final Four. For three years, he was co-host of “Golic and Wingo,” a popular morning show on ESPN Radio.
