The Arizona Division of Occupational Safety and Health Consultation Department Presents Forest Canyon Endoscopy & Surgery with SHARP Designation
The Arizona Division of Occupational Safety and Health (ADOSH) has awarded Forest Canyon Endoscopy & Surgery, in Flagstaff, with its Safety and Health Achievement Recognition Program (SHARP) award in recognition of their exemplary safety and health management systems. They join 26 other companies in Arizona with this distinction.
“Forest Canyon Endoscopy & Surgery has shown the responsibility and care needed to operate a safe, successful business,” said Jessie Atencio, assistant director and consultation and training program manager for ADOSH. “Businesses that earn SHARP designations show dedication to being a safe working environment.”
To qualify for the SHARP award, ADOSH evaluates an employer’s overall workplace safety and health efforts, including written programs, injury and illness rates and how integrated safety programs are with the day-to-day work environment. ADOSH conducts a full workplace inspection including extensive employee interviews.
