SUBWAY® Restaurants of Arizona Opens Newest Location in Sun City West
(Sun City West, Ariz. – Nov. 17, 2015) – The newest SUBWAY® Restaurant, which is located at 19423 North R. H. Johnson Blvd. in Sun City West, is now open. The hours of operation for the restaurant are 6 a.m. to 9 p.m., Monday through Friday; 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Saturday; and 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Sunday. Karen Leigh, a local resident and three-year Subway team member, will manage the location. The restaurant is owned by long-time SUBWAY franchisee Mark Roden.
“It’s great to have Karen on board because I know she will make sure customers receive top notch service and meals of only the best quality,” said Roden. “It is a beautiful store and we’re excited about being open in the neighborhood.”
Roden opened his first SUBWAY restaurant in Arizona in 1987. He and his team at Desert Subway have grown from that first location nearly 30 years ago to 58 SUBWAY restaurants across Arizona and Hawaii. In addition to being a SUBWAY franchisee and president of Desert Subway, Roden serves on the local SUBWAY advertising board and is the co-founder and as well as chairman of Subway Kids & Sports™ of Arizona, a local non-profit organization dedicated to providing sports equipment, uniforms, registration fees and access to major sporting events for kids that might not otherwise have that opportunity. SUBWAY and Roden support kids in sports because it believes basic sports skills – teamwork, commitment and accountability – help kids throughout their lives.
