Southwest Behavioral Receives Lovitt & Touché Risk Culture Inversion Award for Third Consecutive Year

(PHOENIX, Ariz.—March 31, 2023)—Southwest Behavioral & Health Services (SB&H), an innovative leader in behavioral health, today announced that the organization received a Lovitt & Touché (L&T) Risk Culture Inversion Award. Honored once again for embracing the principles of Inversion as delivered by the Lovitt & Touché Risk Control Team, this is the third year in a row that SB&H has received the recognition.

The Inversion Awards follow L&T’s safety model and philosophy, which, taking the form of an inverted triangle, emphasizes the proactive steps organizations can take to lead toward zero safety incidents.

Award recipients, chosen by a panel of L&T officers, were selected based on the following criteria:

  • Utilized the L&T Risk Management resources
  • Embraced the principles of Inversion as delivered by the L&T Risk Control Team
  • Sustained an internal culture shift within the organization based on their interactions with L&T
  • Had a remarkable and favorable turnaround and are now operating as a healthier business

“Our internal safety practices are a top priority here,” says Saran Hansen, director of risk management of Southwest Behavioral & Health Services. “I’m proud of our team for winning the award three years in a row and will continue our efforts to create a safe workplace for all.”
