Southwest Behavioral & Health Services Promotes Dr. Lynette Livesay to Chief Psychologist

(PHOENIX – April 29, 2021) – Dr. Lynette Livesay, PsyD. has been promoted to chief psychologist at Southwest Behavioral & Health Services (SB&H). Dr. Livesay will maintain SB&H’s accreditation through the American Psychological Association’s Association of Psychology Postdoctoral and Internship Centers and develop a long-term strategy to ensure continued enhancement and growth of the Doctoral Psychology Internship Program.

Most recently, Dr. Livesay, was Administrator of Clinical Education, where she was responsible for the management of the Doctoral Psychology Internship Program and clinical oversight of psychology trainees. She carried out strategic initiatives resulting in the growth and transformation of the program into one of the largest in the nation. Prior to her time at SB&H, Dr. Livesay was a psychologist with the Arizona Department of Corrections.

A licensed psychologist, Dr. Livesay earned her Bachelor of Arts in Human Development, Family Studies and Related Services from Arizona State University. She secured her master’s degree in counseling from the University of Phoenix. She earned her Doctor of Psychology in Clinical and Forensic Psychology from Illinois School of Professional Psychology.
