Southwest Behavioral & Health Services Hires Vice President of Outpatient Services

(PHOENIX – Oct. 15, 2021) Southwest Behavioral & Health Services (SB&H), an innovative leader in behavioral health, today announced that Lynne Emmons has been named vice president of outpatient services. Emmons will oversee the operations of seven integrated healthcare clinics that provide outpatient services, integrated care, opioid treatment and specialty programs.

“Lynne will collaborate with program directors and other vice presidents to build and develop strategies to grow and sustain our programming,” says COO Dominic Miller. “She will implement and oversee all processes, workflows, procedures and organizational systems to ensure that we are always in line with Southwest Behavioral & Health Services’ mission and values.”

Emmons has more than 13 years of experience in the behavioral health industry. Before starting at SB&H, Emmons was chief operating officer at Valle del Sol where she managed 200 team members across Arizona and New Mexico in the areas of behavioral health and psychiatry, medication assistance treatment, mobile health, school-based services, Women Infant Children services and all medical assistants and support staff. Additional work experience at Valle del Sol included chief of quality, information and technology; corporate compliance and privacy officer, director of quality management, clinical supervisor and as a youth and family therapist.

A Glendale resident, Emmons received her Master of Advanced Studies in Marriage and Family Therapy, a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology with an emphasis in family and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology all from Arizona State University. Emmons is a council member of the Health Current Privacy and Security Council and a former board member of the Western Clinicians Network.
