Southwest Behavioral & Health Services Celebrates Employee of the Year Awards

(PHOENIX – Dec. 7, 2022)¾Southwest Behavioral & Health Services (SB&H), an innovative integrated health leader, hosted the organization’s Employee of the Year Awards at a formal dinner at The Chart House in Scottsdale.  Awards were presented to SB&H employees representing all departments that went above and beyond in fulfilling the organization’s mission and values.

Employees nominated their fellow coworkers as a token of appreciation for the hard work and time put into ensuring company values were continuously modeled throughout the organization and in all daily interactions. A selection committee made up of individuals representing all departments throughout the organization came together to evaluate nominations and choose recipients for the Employee of the Year awards.

“Southwest Behavioral & Health Services’ Employee of the Year Award is a great honor to receive and is meant to recognize our team members’ hard work and accomplishments throughout the year,” said Steven Sheets, president and CEO.

Ashlee Rogers, program coordinator of SACE community living, added, “I was excited to be nominated by my fellow coworkers and honored to be a part of the selection process for this award.”

The Employee of the Year Award recipients included Melanie Petersen, Risk Management Specialist; Garrett Gesler, Lead RN; Meagan Ku, BHP Associate; Stephanie Quintela, 18th Avenue Team Lead; Hanna Jurekovic-Byrd, BHMP/Prescriber; Eric Huddle, Senior Community Resilience Center Team Lead; Paulina Pantoja, 7th Avenue Front Office Supervisor; Ashlee Rogers, Program Coordinator; Ceferino Desiderio, Chef; and Cliffard Mayo, Crisis Interventionist.
