REDW Advisors & CPAs Promotes Kimberly Mathews to Principal in Tax Practice
(SALEM, Ore. – December 15, 2025) — REDW Advisors & CPAs is pleased to announce the appointment of Kimberly Mathews as Principal in its Tax Services practice. In her role, Mathews, who has been with REDW’s Pacific Northwest office since her team at Grove Mueller & Swank merged with the firm in 2023, will guide tax strategy, advance client service excellence, and support growth of REDW’s tax practice across the nation.
Mathews brings nearly 25 years of experience to the role and joined Grove Mueller & Swank in 2016, most recently serving the firm as a Senior Tax Manager. A second-career professional, Mathews began her career in retail and human resources before shifting into tax in 2002. She relocated to Oregon to be closer to family and pursued her interest in accounting, evolving through roles over the years in client service, tax planning, and team leadership. Her early cross-functional experience in customer service and human resources enriches her aptitude in client relations and developing staff.
Outside of work, Mathews is an active member of her community. She resides in Salem, Oregon, with her cat, Kitty O’Shey, and remains a dedicated aunt and local arts and wine enthusiast. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Willamette University and maintains her Enrolled Agent license and Oregon Licensed Tax Consultant certifications.
