Mr. Pickle’s Sandwich Shop Expands Menu with Pit Boss Pulled-Pork Sandwich, Building on Major Menu Evolution
(SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. – Aug. 27, 2026) – Mr. Pickle’s Sandwich Shop is bringing a different flavor experience to its menu with the debut of the Pit Boss, a new sandwich that stacks oven-toasted pulled pork, barbecue sauce, creamy coleslaw and pickle chips on a brioche bun.
The Pit Boss is available at all Mr. Pickle’s locations across Arizona and California.

The sandwich builds on a new chapter for Mr. Pickle’s that began with its first major menu revamp since opening in 1995, reorganizing the menu by protein type, followed by the launch of wraps offered in wheat, spinach and gluten-free options.
More recently, the brand introduced an oven-toasted lineup featuring Chipotle Ranch and Chicken Bacon Ranch flavors. Guests can now order any of their favorite Mr. Pickle’s sandwiches as a wrap or “Now Toasted” for a different spin on the menu items they already enjoy.
Along with expanding its menu, Mr. Pickle’s earned its highest placement to date on Fast Casual’s Top 100 Movers & Shakers list this year, ranking No. 65.
