Mesa SUBWAY® Earns Statewide “Restaurant of the Month” Honor

(MESA, Ariz. – Jan. 17, 2017) – SUBWAY® Restaurants of Arizona is pleased to announce that the Subway Restaurant located at 161 W. Main St. in Mesa has been named the “Restaurant of the Month” for December 2016. This location, which beat out more than 400 of its fellow restaurants statewide, is owned by Christine Blank and managed by Eli Tacho.

“Eli and his team worked very hard to receive this honor,” said Blank. “This store is No. 1 in the state for selling “deluxe” sandwiches, and Eli has a tremendous number of regular customers that love him and the rest of the team. He cares about this store as if it were his own.”

Blank first became a franchisee in 1993, and this location is the first franchise she ever opened. She now owns six locations throughout Arizona. This is the third time this Subway location has won the Restaurant of the Month award, which now makes it eligible for the coveted 2016 Restaurant of the Year honors, which will be given out in early 2017.
