Mark Roden Appointed Chair of Local Subway® Franchisee Advertising Trust
Subway® Restaurants of Arizona is pleased to announce that Ahwatukee resident Mark Roden, a local Subway franchisee for more than 25 years, has been named the chairman of the 2014-2015 Subway Franchisee Advertising Fund Trust of Arizona (SFAFT). Local franchisees have also elected Chad Barnett, Sean Brown, David Candioto, Ed Flores, Tom Hall and Les White as board members.
The SFAFT board oversees the marketing efforts for Subway franchisees throughout the Phoenix and northern Arizona markets, including all advertising, promotions, public relations and other activities designed to increase business at individual franchise locations.
“It’s an exciting time for Subway of Arizona,” said Roden. “With the launch of our new Flatizza and Frito’s Chicken Enchilada Melt, we expect to stay very busy this term.”
In addition to overseeing more than 50 Subway locations statewide and serving as the SFAFT chairman, Roden is also the co-founder and executive director of Subway Kids & Sports of Arizona™, an organization focusing on increasing children’s self-esteem, encouraging the community to become involved in the lives of at-risk children, and promoting volunteerism in local schools.
