Jewish Family & Children’s Service Wins Five Readers’ Choice Awards

(PHOENIX – May 20, 2019) – Jewish Family and Children’s Service (JFCS) has won five Readers’ Choice Awards from Jewish News, a community weekly publication serving Greater Phoenix and Northern Arizona.

JFCS was awarded top honors in the following categories:

  • Best Non-Profit Organization
  • Best Mental Health Practitioners
  • Best Senior Activities
  • Best Children/Teen Programming
  • Best Young Adult Programming

“We have dedicated more than 80 years to providing a high standard of care and programming to our community,” said Lorrie Henderson, Ph.D., MBA, LCSW, president/CEO.  “JFCS has supported thousands of children, teens and adults through our various programs and to be recognized by the readers of our local Jewish community paper is a true honor.”

The Jewish News Readers’ Choice program ranks the businesses and organizations that readers consider vital to the local community. The results will also be featured in the Jewish News Best of Magazine, publishing on June 7, 2019.
