(PHOENIX – July 7, 2020) – Jewish Family & Children’s Service (JFCS) today announced that its three integrated healthcare centers and outpatient behavioral health clinic have been certified by HealthyVerify—the country’s only medically based, scientific and professional full-service certification company that helps organizations minimize the risk of transmitting infectious disease.
Scottsdale-based HealthyVerify helps organizations implement strict health and safety procedures that protect employees and customers. HealthyVerify Certified organizations have gone through an inspection and proven that they are taking smart steps and implementing practices and procedures to reduce the chance that infectious diseases, including COVID-19, will be transmitted on an organization’s premises.
“Protecting our staff and the people we serve is paramount to everything we do,” said JFCS President and CEO Dr. Lorrie Henderson. “By working with and getting certified by HealthyVerify, JFCS has proven that we have developed and implemented disease-reducing procedures, creating a safe and healthy environment for everyone that visits a JFCS location.”
JFCS is Arizona’s first and only behavioral health organization to be certified by HealthyVerify.
“Taking the proper steps to confirm that our organization is doing everything we can to protect our employees and the individuals that visit our integrated healthcare centers is an important step in doing our part to stop the spread of COVID-19,” added Henderson.
HealthyVerify procedures are designed to create a healthier environment and provide key guidance for day-to-day healthcare practices. The current procedure recommendations are based on CDC guidelines that include a Proposed Phase Approach that recommends developing and implementing a plan that considers the following criteria:
