Jewish Family & Children’s Service Expands Virtual Programming for Seniors

(PHOENIX – Oct. 19, 2020) – Jewish Family & Children’s Service (JFCS) has expanded its virtual programming for seniors on Zoom starting in November. Seniors throughout the Valley will be able to access virtual programs through Jewish Family & Children’s Service’s Center for Senior Enrichment.

According to Jennifer Brauner, site director for the Center for Senior Enrichment, social gatherings are an important part of the weekly routine for many seniors.

“With in-person activities halted for an uncertain amount of time, JFCS has worked with program organizers and presenters around the Valley to bring seniors interactive programs to help keep them engaged,” said Brauner.

The Heard Museum will share examples of artwork, the Arizona Jewish Historical Society will lead a book club discussions and musical programs will also be available with Phoenix Conservatory of Music, Nicole Pesce and many more talented entertainers in upcoming months.
