Jewish Family & Children’s Service Celebrates Transparency
(PHOENIX – April 29, 2019) – Jewish Family and Children’s Service (JFCS) was honored for the seventh year with the Excellence in Giving Transparency Certificate, which is rewarded to nonprofits that reveal challenges and successes they have experienced in reaching their goals, promoting a community that holds themselves to a higher standard of openness and accountability.
Recipients of the Excellence in Giving Transparency Certificate are recognized for going above and beyond, sharing more about governance, finances, strategy and impact than is required by the IRS. Transparency seal recipients are rewarded for their honesty to voluntarily disclose information about operations within their organization, welcoming a new breed of nonprofits committed to higher standards.
