(MARICOPA, Ariz. – April 30, 2018) – Harrah’s Ak-Chin Casino hosted the Fourth Annual 5K Poker Run with record numbers in attendance and a donation to Girls on the Run Maricopa. The casino donated $1,000 to the nonprofit organization whose mission is to inspire girls to recognize their inner strength and celebrate what makes them one of a kind.

The 5K Poker Run was organized by Harrah’s Ak-Chin Casino. In addition, to the 5K run, the daylong event included a pool party with live entertainment, free food and drinks.

“Harrah’s is committed to giving back to our community and our team is honored to be able to support Girls on the Run Maricopa,” said Michael Kintner, director of marketing and operations for Harrah’s Ak-Chin Casino.

Celebrating 23 years in Maricopa, Ariz., Harrah’s Ak-Chin Casino is Arizona’s first and only tribal casino to have an international management partner.

In addition to its slot machines, video poker, video Keno, statewide progressives and live action poker and Black Jack, Harrah’s Ak-Chin boasts the only Bingo hall in the Caesars organization.  Casino guests can also enjoy a variety of dining options, including the Copper Cactus Grill, Oak & Fork, Agave’s Restaurant, The Range Steakhouse, The Buffet and Dunkin Donuts®.
