Harrah’s Ak-Chin Casino Hosts Corporate Meetings and Events with CodeGreen Philanthropic Activities that Support Maricopa Community

(MARICOPA, Ariz. – Sept. 20, 2021) – As part of its ongoing sustainability efforts, Harrah’s Ak-Chin Casino now provides an opportunity for its meeting and conference guests to get in on the action. At a recent meeting of the Arizona Sunbelt Chapter of Meeting Professionals International at Harrah’s Ak-Chin Casino, event attendees participated in a CodeGreen “Clean The World” community service activity. The first group to do so, this philanthropic event had meeting attendees create shower kits for Maricopa’s homeless population.

A companywide initiative of Harrah’s parent company Caesars Entertainment, CodeGreen is a public pledge for Harrah’s Ak-Chin Casino employees, guests and communities that the company will explore and implement ways to reduce its environmental footprint.

Among the many ways the company is committed to sustainability includes:

• Investing in sustainable practices that increase energy efficiency and water conservation
• Commitment to measurable reductions in greenhouse gas emissions
• Promoting recycling and waste reduction throughout the property, including the casino, hotel and restaurants
• Assembling “Clean The World” hygiene kits to offer support of the Valley’s homeless population
