Hank Marshall and Nadia Higgins to Speak At Arizona Association for Economic Development’s December Luncheon
The Arizona Association for Economic Development (AAED) will host its December luncheon on Tuesday, Dec. 3 from 11:15 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. at 2901 N. Seventh St. in Phoenix.
Featured speakers will include Hank Marshall, economic development executive officer for the city of Phoenix, and Nadia Higgins, British Airway’s Phoenix airport manager. Marshall will discuss the importance of an international economic development program and Higgins will detail a case study of an international business success in Arizona.
The luncheon will benefit Ryan House, which is an Arizona based charity that provides quality short-term respite, palliative and end -of-life care, along with appropriate therapies, activities and support to children with life-threating conditions and their families.

AAED was originally founded in 1974 as the Arizona Association for Industrial Development (AAID). The organization, which was dedicated to expanding the industrial and economic base of Arizona, changed to its current name in 1991 to better reflect its broader mission.
