(TUCSON – August 1, 2016) Fletcher McCusker, chairman of Rio Nuevo, will be the keynote speaker at the Arizona Association for Economic Development’s (AAED) September Southern Arizona luncheon. It will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 28 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. at the Arizona Inn, located at 2200 E. Elm St., in Tucson.
Rio Nuevo, whose mission is to facilitate and participate in the development of a vibrant downtown Tucson, was created and approved by voters 1999 as both a municipal stadium district and a special taxing district.
