Film And Sports Tourism To Be The Topic At AAED’s Southern Economic Development Regional Symposium

(TUCSON, Ariz. – Feb. 26, 2019)  “Leveling the Playing Field: Film and Sports Tourism” will be the topic at the Arizona Association for Economic Development’s (AAED) Southern Economic Development Regional Symposium.

It will be held March 27 from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Pima Community College, Room A-109, 401 N. Bonita Ave. in Tucson.

With film and sports tourism rapidly growing in popularity in southern

Arizona, the focus on the symposium will be on how multiple sports and recreation opportunities, local governments and tourism destination marketing organizations are making a concerted effort to advance both of these sectors in order to bolster their economic impact on the region.
