Elizabeth M. Rock has been appointed Director of Major/Planned Gifts for Jewish Family & Children’s Service

(PHOENIX – September 6, 2018) – Elizabeth M. Rock has joined the philanthropic services team at Jewish Family & Children’s Service as director of major/planned gifts.  In this role, she will be responsible for generating major gifts for the JFCS organization through collaboration with JFCS senior leaders, volunteers, agency liaisons and corporate partners as well as cultivating relationships with existing and prospective donors.

Rock joins the organization from the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law at Arizona State University, where she served as the development director.

“Elizabeth brings expertise and a varied background in development to Jewish Family & Children’s Service,” said Gail Baer, vice president of philanthropic services.  “With 12 years of fundraising and management experience in higher education, the non-profit sector and the hospitality industry, she has demonstrated success in closing financial contributions through a variety of comprehensive development campaigns.”

Rock, a Scottsdale resident (85266) has a Bachelor of Science degree from Northern Arizona University.

“There is so much depth to the programing and services they offer to the community and I look forward to being a part of such a dynamic and diverse organization as Jewish Family & Children’s Service,” said Rock.
