Economic Development Champion

(COOLIDGE, Ariz. – Jan. 28, 2020) Rep. T.J. Shope (R-Coolidge) was recognized by the Arizona Association for Economic Development (AAED) with a 2019 Economic Development Champion Award.  Shope advocated for infrastructure improvements in the budget, resulting in an allocation of $10 million for I-10 expansion from Phoenix to Casa Grande. He also sponsored a bill that expands the county transportation tax.  Nicole Snyder, (right) AAED’s president and director of business strategies for Johnson Carlier, presented the award.
