David Newstone Joins Esperança Board of Directors

(PHOENIX – October 1, 2019) – Esperança, a Phoenix-based nonprofit whose mission is to improve health and restore hope both locally and globally, has elected David Newstone to its Board of Directors.

Newstone is a Phoenix-based public interest attorney devoted to increasing access to justice for low-income and underserved Arizonans through public legal education, civil litigation, and legislative and administrative agency advocacy.  He will bring his passion and expertise in human rights law and policy to the board.

He holds graduate degrees in law and political science from McGill University, the University of California, Santa Cruz and the University of Chicago.

“David’s knowledge and expertise in working with some of our most vulnerable populations make him a valuable addition to our Board of Directors,” said Jeri Royce, president/CEO of Esperança.
